This week we celebrated the youngest member of the Solent team as Dillon completed his Level 2 Diploma in IT User Skills Apprenticeship!
Dillon is our Junior Digital Designer and has been with us for a year and half (time flies), training under our Digital Project Manager. Over this time, he has learnt a variety of skills including IT security, collaborative technologies plus design and website software – the chances are, if we are building your website then you have been dealing with Dillon on a regular basis.
Dillon has taken the lead in some of our more current projects namely a recent collaboration with Moore Training Solutions and Respect My Stuff.
By training under an apprenticeship scheme, Dillon has had the opportunity to be hands on with bigger clients such as Wightlink and Quayside, rather than learning from case studies in a classroom. When asked what the best thing has been about his apprenticeship, Dillon said “seeing my work both online and in print when I have been out and about is really fulfilling and not something I would have been able to achieve without completing this apprenticeship.”
Well done Dillon!
