Just as we all know the power of a influencer with millions of followers (and a pretty similar price tag to endorse your brand) micro-influencers are quietly helping businesses connect with their core market. Micro-influencers have followers of 10k or less, but their followers are genuinely engaged and interested in what they have to say. The micro-influencer is often considered an expert in their field, so customers take them seriously.
#5 Social monitoring. Otherwise known as social listening, is the art of crawling the web looking for all brand mentions and associated keywords. Mainly, this act enables business to react to customer issues and manager brand reputation but can offer lead generation for the savvy business. People are not about to stop sharing their ideas and recommendations online, so brands may as well make the most of it.
