We had a big day out this week with our clients Goddards, all the way up to Warminster for a photoshoot. We were shooting the malting process at Warminster Maltings. Last year the Isle of Wight Barley was tested and shown to be of the correct calibre and perfect for brewing, making Goddards brews even more local!
Before barley can be used to make beer, it needs to be malted and this very traditional and essential process is entrusted to Warminster Maltings, Britain’s oldest working maltings who have been making malt for brewers since 1855. This natural process prevails today because it is now widely acknowledged that this method produces a superior product, particularly suited to the Craft Brewing industry. We were pleased to go along and record this fascinating process for Goddards for future advertising.
