Taste of the Wight’s Macmillan Coffee morning

Taste of the Wight’s Macmillan Coffee morning

Taste of the Wight’s Macmillan Coffee morning Solent.co

On September 30th Taste of the Wight here at Solent had their very own coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and raised over £200. The Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning takes place each September raising money to help support those living with cancer, whether it is paying for a Macmillan Nurse or helping someone receive essential support, it is a great cause that we can all get behind. Every year more and more people register to support and last year Macmillan raised £25 million alone.  macmillian-coffee-morning-2016

Our coffee morning featured Island Roasted Coffee served up thanks to Dr Beans. The cakes on offer were from kind donations thanks to Chessell Pottery, The Royal, The Teahouse, Cafe Isola, The Island Bakers, Isle of Wight Pearl, Quarr Abbey, Splendid Cakes, Cake Creations and Miss Dotty’s Cakes.
