As big coffee fans (our design team practically run on it, if they are grumpy we just ply them with more) we were very happy to be asked to be involved in the latest project from The Island Tea & Coffee Co.
At the beginning of April 2017, the team at Island Tea & Coffee Co. invested in a coffee roasting machine. With 35 years of coffee history behind them, roasting their very own coffee was the next logical step for The Island Tea & Coffee Co. Project Manager Julian Tomlinson has extensively researched the art of coffee making and thus locally roasted Isle of Wight coffee was born.
As we all know, fresh is best when it comes to coffee. Coffee begins to lose its flavour between 7-14 days after roasting so by choosing a coffee that is locally roasted, allows the Island Tea & Coffee’s customers to enjoy the best tasting coffee for longer. It’s artisan coffee with the perk of next day delivery. Roasting the coffee locally, enables them to be more reactive with blends for the Island, adding seasonality to the range through different flavours as and when required.
The Island Tea & Coffee Co came to us with a brief to help them with some of the packaging design and to deliver a trade PR campaign generating coverage around the launch and raise brand awareness. We also utilised our photographic department to shoot some exciting imagery to accompany the campaign.
Make sure you try a cup of frsh Isle of Wight roated coffee soon.
